I offer presentations and workshops for students grades 3-5, as well as adult learners and organizations. These can be designed to fit your needs! Please reach out: the fees can also be negotiated, depending on your group situation.
Possible Sessions:
INTERACTIVE "CLASS" DISCUSSION - "Between the Lighthouse and You" – 20-30 students, 1 hour.
A one-hour class discussion about the book’s themes, characters, and plot. We'd share our personal connections to the book and would also discuss the writing process (including revision), idea generation, plus how the story became a published book. Students should read the book ahead of time.
Fee: (students purchase the book ahead of time)
INTERACTIVE WRITING WORKSHOP – 10-15 students, 1 hour.
A small group, we'd meet once a week for three weeks to write creatively. Some possible topics and themes: life as an author, the writing process (including revision), the core basics of building a story or poem, idea generation. Students would dig into their own creativity and get personal attention.
Fee: $5/student per week
AFTER-SCHOOL BOOK CLUB – 10-15 students, 1 hour.
An extra-curricular activity with students who have read Between the Lighthouse and You ahead of the session. We'd discuss the book’s themes, characters, and plot, as well as share our personal experience reading the book.

VIRTUAL PRESENTATIONS - 10-30 students, 1 hour.

* We could also discuss adult book clubs, an Author's Lunch or Professional Development workshops. I am also available for public speaking engagements.
